Leading and executing
technology that matters.
I'm Connor, an Eagle Scout in the Honors Robotics Program at UT Austin, passionate about leading impactful technology through firmware and hardware development.
Vibrotactile Band
Teaching Large Motor Skills
A low-cost wearable armband system designed for the HERO Lab at Texas Robotics. Delivers direction-based haptic cues to guide motion through up to 4 vibration motor pods. Features a custom 3cm × 5cm Master Pod PCB with integrated charging, orientation tracking (IMU), and <1ms latency wireless communication. Built for under $25 per unit to enable accessible motor skill learning.
Outside the Lab
interests and hobbies.
Outside of classes and research, I try to stay active and creative. You'll usually find me playing pickup soccer, hiking around Enchanted Rock or Joshua Tree, and scouting new coffee spots in Austin.
I also shoot photography and write about travel, design, and hardware projects on my blog. It's a simple way to step back from the computer, clear my head, and focus on other hobbies.
present
Building the Haplink communication framework for haptic devices and developing a vibrotactile armband for motor skill learning. Improved reliability with 100% error detection, 13-byte packets at 100Hz. Worked under Dr. Ross Neuman.
present
Creating a long-term project program to develop hardware for IT Bridge, a nonprofit teaching underprivileged youth about electrical engineering careers. Planned and executed events for the full chapter.
2025
Selected as 1 of 4 youth in the Houston area for the highest youth role in Scouting's premier leadership program. Led a 25-person staff to deliver a week-long leadership intensive for 60 handpicked participants.
2025
Established a studio of programmers, artists, and writers to develop and publish Discord bots and games. Grew Fireball Dice Roller to 10,000+ users across 150 servers. Delivered private bots for clients and built community on social media.
Let's build something
that that changes the world.
I'm always open to research collaborations, internship opportunities, and interesting projects. If you're working on something cool, please reach out and lets make a difference (or just make a sick robot).
